The rules for using this website, plus licensing, warranty, and safety information you're entitled to know.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of riegerelectric.com (the "Site"), operated by Rieger Electric LLC ("Rieger Electric," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
These Terms cover the Site. The electrical work itself is governed by the written estimate, invoice, or contract you sign with us. Where those documents conflict with these Terms, the signed job documents control.
2. Licensing & Regulation
Rieger Electric LLC is a licensed electrical contractor operating in the State of Texas. Electrical contractors and electricians in Texas are licensed and regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
Our Texas Electrical Contractor License (TECL) number is displayed in the footer of every page of this Site. You are entitled to verify it, and we encourage you to — license status can be looked up on the TDLR website.
To file a complaint about electrical work in Texas: contact the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, P.O. Box 12157, Austin, TX 78711 · 1-800-803-9202 · tdlr.texas.gov. We'd rather you call us first so we can make it right, but that avenue is always open to you.
3. No Professional Advice — Electrical Safety
Everything on this Site is general information about the services we offer. It is not electrical, engineering, code-compliance, or safety advice for your specific situation. Nothing here should be treated as instructions for doing electrical work yourself.
Electricity is dangerous. Contact with energized conductors can cause serious injury, permanent disability, or death, and faulty electrical work is a leading cause of residential fires. Do not attempt electrical repairs, panel work, or generator connections yourself based on anything you read here. In Texas, electrical work performed for compensation must be done by a licensed contractor. If you smell burning, see smoke or sparks, or a panel or outlet is hot to the touch, shut the breaker off if you can do so safely and call a licensed electrician immediately. If there is active fire or smoke, call 911 first.
4. Acceptable Use of the Site
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of these Terms
- Give us false, misleading, or fraudulent information when contacting us
- Send spam, chain messages, advertising, or solicitations to our phone or email
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its hosting, or any connected system
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or breach its security measures
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code
- Use automated scrapers, bots, or harvesters against the Site
- Interfere with the Site's operation, or overload it with excessive requests
- Frame, mirror, or misrepresent the Site as your own
We may block access, refuse service, or pursue legal remedies for any violation.
5. Contacting Us
This Site has no contact form. It publishes our phone number, our email address, and our hours, and that is the whole of it. To reach us, call or text (903) 736-6952, or email Trarieger@gmail.com.
Contacting us does not create a contract. An enquiry is a request for us to get in touch. No work is scheduled, no price is fixed, and no obligation exists on either side until we have spoken with you and you have accepted a written estimate.
We can't guarantee delivery of any electronic message — texts and email fail sometimes. If your situation is urgent, call rather than texting or emailing. If you leave a message and don't hear back within one business day, assume something went wrong and call again.
6. Communications Consent
By contacting us, you consent to receive calls, text messages, and emails back from Rieger Electric at the number or address you used, regarding your request and any resulting work. This may include automated or prerecorded messages where permitted by law.
- Message frequency varies and relates only to your job.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out; reply HELP for assistance.
- Opting out of texts doesn't stop us from calling you about work in progress.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any service. Tell us to call instead and we will.

7. Estimates, Pricing & Scheduling
Prices, timeframes, and availability mentioned on this Site are general and subject to change. They are not offers and are not binding.
- An estimate becomes binding only when it's in writing and accepted by both parties.
- Estimates are based on conditions visible at the time. Concealed conditions — damaged wiring inside a wall, an undersized service, corroded connections, prior unpermitted work — may change the scope and the price. We will stop and discuss it with you before proceeding.
- We serve the area within approximately 48 miles of Longview, Texas. Jobs outside that radius are accepted only by prior arrangement.
- Scheduling is subject to availability, weather, permit and inspection timing, material lead times, and emergency calls that take priority.
- Where permits and inspections are required, work isn't complete until the inspection passes.
8. Warranties & Disclaimers
Our workmanship. We stand behind the work we perform. Any workmanship warranty, its length, and what it covers will be stated in your written estimate or invoice. Manufacturer warranties on equipment we install (generators, chargers, panels, fixtures) belong to the manufacturer and pass through to you under their terms — we are not the warrantor of those products.
What is not covered. Workmanship warranties do not cover damage from misuse, alteration by others, later work by another contractor, power surges or utility events, lightning, flooding, storms, fire, pest damage, normal wear, or pre-existing defects in wiring or equipment we did not install.
The Site itself. THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that information on it is complete, current, or accurate.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY TEXAS LAW:
- Rieger Electric, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site — including lost profits, lost business, lost data, or loss of goodwill — even if we were advised such damages were possible.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).
- Liability arising out of electrical work we actually perform is governed by your signed estimate, invoice, or contract and by applicable Texas law — not by this section.
- We are not liable for damages resulting from your reliance on general information on the Site, from delayed or undelivered electronic messages, or from any third-party service, site, or content linked from the Site.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or personal injury or death caused by our negligence, where such limitation is prohibited by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rieger Electric LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
11. Intellectual Property
The Site's design, text, photographs, layout, code, and the Rieger Electric name and logo are owned by Rieger Electric LLC or used with permission, and are protected by United States copyright and trademark law. The project photographs on this Site are our own work.
You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your own non-commercial use in evaluating or arranging our services. You may not copy, republish, sell, or use our content or images commercially, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement, without our written permission.
If you believe content on this Site infringes your copyright, contact us with a description of the work, the location on our Site, your contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief, and we'll investigate and remove infringing material promptly.
12. Reviews & Testimonials
Customer reviews shown on this Site are real and unedited except for length. They reflect those customers' individual experiences and are not a guarantee that you will get the same result — every property and job is different.
We do not pay for reviews, offer compensation or discounts in exchange for reviews, write reviews of ourselves, or suppress negative reviews. Awards and ratings shown are as of the date noted and may change.
13. Third-Party Links
The Site links to third-party sites and services, including Google, Google Maps, and Facebook. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, practices, or privacy policies. Following a link is at your own risk, and the third party's terms and privacy policy apply once you leave our Site.
14. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
15. Accessibility
We want this Site usable by everyone. See our Accessibility Statement for what we've done and how to report a barrier.
16. Dispute Resolution
Talk to us first. If you're unhappy with anything, contact us at (903) 736-6952 or Trarieger@gmail.com and describe the issue. Both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days before starting formal proceedings. Most problems get sorted out with a phone call.
Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harrison County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
Nothing here prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court, or from seeking injunctive relief to protect intellectual property.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you don't agree with a change, stop using the Site.

18. General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in full effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any signed estimate or contract, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rieger Electric regarding the Site.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, power outages, natural disasters, labor disputes, supply shortages, or governmental action.
