Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. No tracking scripts, no cookies, and we don't sell anything about you.
1. Who We Are
Rieger Electric LLC ("Rieger Electric," "we," "us," or "our") is a licensed electrical contractor based in Hallsville, Texas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through riegerelectric.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
If anything here is unclear, call us at (903) 736-6952 or email Trarieger@gmail.com and we'll explain it in plain language.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us
This Site has no contact form, no sign-up, and no way to submit information to us. There is nothing on it that asks you for your name, your number, or anything else.
The only way we receive your information is if you choose to contact us directly — by calling, texting, or emailing the details published on the Contact page. In that case we have whatever you chose to tell us: typically your name, the number you called or texted from, your address, and a description of the work you need.
Information collected automatically
The Site is a set of static pages. We do not run analytics software, advertising pixels, session recording, or cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not set any cookies.
Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs standard server request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp. This is ordinary web-server logging used for security and reliability. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not have access to it in any form that identifies you personally.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, payment card data, precise geolocation, biometric data, or any special category of sensitive personal information through this Site. Please do not send any of that by text or email either.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use what you send us to:
- Respond to your request and answer your questions
- Prepare an estimate and schedule the work
- Contact you about a job in progress or one we've completed
- Keep records required for licensing, warranty, insurance, and tax purposes
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Third-Party Services on This Site
Google Maps
Our About and Contact pages can display a Google Map of our service area. The map does not load automatically. Nothing is sent to Google unless you click the "Show the service area map" button. If you click it, Google receives your IP address and standard browser information under Google's Privacy Policy. If you never click it, Google never hears from you.
We link to our Facebook page. Those are ordinary links — no Facebook tracking pixel or SDK runs on this Site. Facebook only learns about you if you click through.
Fonts and scripts
All styles, scripts, and images are served from our own domain. This Site loads no third-party fonts, no content delivery networks, and no external JavaScript.
6. Phone Calls, Text Messages & Consent
When you call, text, or email us, you consent to being contacted back at that number or address about the service you asked about. That may include phone calls, text messages, and email.
- Message frequency varies — we only text about your specific job.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (903) 736-6952.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can hire us without agreeing to texts — just tell us to call instead.
We do not send marketing blasts, promotional campaigns, or newsletters, and we do not sell or share your number with anyone for their own marketing.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep enquiries that don't turn into jobs for about two years, in case you come back to us.
For completed work, we keep customer and job records for at least four years to satisfy Texas tax and business record requirements, and longer where warranty, insurance, or licensing obligations call for it. After that, records are deleted or destroyed.
8. How We Protect Information
Reasonable safeguards we have in place:
- The entire Site is served over HTTPS with HTTP Strict Transport Security, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted.
- A strict Content Security Policy blocks unauthorized scripts from running on our pages.
- Access to customer records is limited to people at Rieger Electric who need it to do their job.
- The Site is a static site with no contact form, no customer database, no login system, and no stored passwords — there is no account for an attacker to break into and no submitted data for anyone to steal.
No system is perfectly secure. We can't guarantee that information sent by text or email is completely safe from interception. Please don't send account numbers, passwords, or sensitive identification that way.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Everyone
No matter where you live, you can contact us at Trarieger@gmail.com or (903) 736-6952 and ask us to tell you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We'll respond within a reasonable time and won't charge you or treat you differently for asking.
Texas residents (Texas Data Privacy and Security Act)
Texas residents may request to confirm whether we process their personal data, access it, correct inaccuracies, obtain a portable copy, delete it, and opt out of sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising or profiling. To exercise a right, email Trarieger@gmail.com with "Texas Privacy Request" in the subject line. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and you may complain to the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected, the sources, our purpose, and the categories of third parties we disclose to; may request correction or deletion; and may opt out of sale or sharing. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months, and we do not sell the personal information of minors. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Other states
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have comparable rights. Contact us and we'll handle your request the same way.
10. Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for adults arranging electrical work. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under 18 where state law sets a higher bar). The Site has no form or any other way for anyone to submit information. If you believe we hold information about a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Visitors Outside the United States
Rieger Electric serves a single region of East Texas — everywhere within roughly 48 miles of Longview, Texas. Our Site and our service providers are located in the United States. If you access the Site from elsewhere, understand that your information will be processed in the United States under United States law, which may not offer the same protections as your home country.
12. Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be noted clearly. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
This policy was last updated on August 15, 2026.
